Reserving a Kitten

Please let us know what gender and color/pattern you would prefer your kitten to be.  We will notify you when your preferred kitten is available. We will also keep you informed of other kitten choices that are available from time to time.

Your home & lifestyle have a lot to do with what characteristics in a kitten you will like best.  We spend a lot of time with our Babyz, watching them grow & develop their great & very individual personalities that will be coming to live with you!  You are more then welcome to come visit your future family member after your baby has had its first set of shots-at eight weeks of age.  If you are unable to come visit then I will strive to make the most perfect match for you as possible!

It is very important to us that our kitten, as well as you, are happy with the match I make for you.  So please be patient while we find the perfect baby for you!!  (After all, this is a lifetime commitment and we want you & your new baby to be happy!)

Pets:

**Standard Colors(blue & seal) & Patterns(Bicolor, Mitted, Colourpoint):  $750-800

**Contemporary Colors( Mink, Chocolates, & Lilacs):  $750-900

All kitten prices include spay/neuter & all kitten vaccinations.

**Non-refundable deposit of $250(this is to cover the costs of spay/neutering) required to hold the kitten of your choice.

Show  Kittens:

Start at $1200 and go up depending on the color and pattern you choose.

Show kittens are sold spayed/neutered OR with breeders rights.

Breeder Kittens:

Start at $1200 and go up depending on the color and pattern you choose.

Retired Breeder/Show Cats:

Often times we have show or breeder cats that we retire from our program.  These cats will be spayed/neutered and  are available to loving homes.  Prices are individual, please inquire if you are interested!

****kittens are priced within the range specified above based on a thorough evaluation of each kitten's pattern, color marking, rarity, & personality(and, of course, if they are sold as a pet, breeder, or show)-we take great pride in our kittens and it shows in each of these special babyz!  PRICES ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE.

Ragdolls are a medium priced cat.  They are not cheap by all means, but they aren't the most expensive either!  We do not make a profit on kitten sales. The prices we charge are to cover veterinary expenses, genetic and health testing, premium foods and supplies and educational expenses.

If a kitten isn't registered as a Ragdoll, then I doubt you are purchasing a PURE Ragdoll. Having said that, always make sure you can receive registration papers from the breeder.  If you can't get these papers, then you're probably dealing with either an unethical breeder or a MIXED breed cat.  It NEVER hurts to check out the breeder, ask for references.

There are many people who purchase cats as unaltered cats, not as breeders....  Then they breed these cats and sell them.  These people CANNOT receive papers on these kittens because the do not have breeding rights.  BEWARE THESE TYPES OF BREEDERS!!!! They sell their kittens cheaper, sure, BUT you won't ever know how healthy they are genetically and you probably won't get a guarantee or someone that will stand behind that guarantee if there is a problem later.

Having said this, I'd also like to take the time to suggest that you should never buy a Ragdoll from a pet store...  An ethical breeder would NEVER allow their kittens to be sold in this manner; and if they do, this just goes to show that they could not possibly care about their kittens. 

*  Deposits are non-refundable, nor are they transferable to another available kitten.

*  Kittens are not reserved only on a first come, first deposit basis, but also on a "who will be the best family for our babyz."  I want to be sure you and your new baby will make a perfect match, so please be patient while we help you find the right baby for you!

*  A $50 discount will apply if you are adopting two or more kittens at the same time.

*  Kitten is required to be an indoor cat only, NO DECLAWING ALLOWED.

Here is what is included in the cost of your kitten:  Our pet kittens are spayed or neutered when they reach the required weight and will leave our home between 10-20 weeks of age.   I let our babyz go to their forever homes once they have been neutered and  show they are ready to go.  They will be fully examined by our licensed veterinarian and given a clean bill of health(this does not include x-rays, ultrasounds, or blood tests.)  They will also have received their first kitten vaccinations and be dewormed.  You will receive a health record and registration papers with each kitten.  Our kittens are fed top quality kitten food (Royal Canin Kitten), and they live in an exceptionally  clean and healthy environment.  They are loved and cared for with lots and lots of TLC so when they come to you they are healthy, happy, and well socialized  little kittens.  Your kitten will come to you familiar with the litter box and with a variety of scratching posts.  (Sales tax applies when applicable.)

Guarantee

The general health of your kitten is guaranteed  for 72 hours.  You have 48 hours(two business days) to have the kitten checked by a vet and if any problems are found I will refund the price of the kitten when he/she is returned within the 48 hours.  Kittens are sold with a one year genetic health guarantee. If within the first one year of life a fatal genetic defect is found, the kitten will be replaced by another kitten when a necropsy(autopsy) report and/or vet records are supplied. (Please note this could take up to 12 months.)  No FIP,  FELV vaccination, outdoor kitty exercise, or declawing is NOT allowed or my health guarantee will be VOIDED reguardless of genetic disease.  These 2 vaccinations are very controversial and the risk that goes with them is too great for the health of your kitten.

Shipping/Delivery

Our cattery serves Eastern and Central Nebraska and Western Iowa, however, we are only several hours drive from Sioux Falls, SD; Kansas City, MO; and Des Moines, IA; so we are easy to reach by interstate.  We will deliver your kitten to you for an extra Delivery fee, usually $45 per hour of driving, or we could even meet you part way.  We ship via Airfreight to any other area, all shipping expenses are at the buyer's expense.   The normal fee for air shipping is $250-350 depending on where you are located(price includes airline ticket, a brand new crate, and health certificate.)  Please contact us directly with your location for full details on airfreight fees and procedures.  Kitten must be completely paid for 10 days prior to delivery.

Methods of Payment

We accept checks, bank issued checks, and postal money orders(FOR DEPOSITS ONLY). When you have selected a kitten and want to send a deposit to hold your kitten, you can use any of the aforementioned methods to send your deposit to us.  (Please be sure to read and understand the kitten agreement before sending a deposit.) All FINAL payments must be paid using cash or bank check before or upon delivery.

We reserve the right to refuse sale, payment terms, and/or to nullify contracts at our discretion any time prior to shipping.

Kitten Agreement

A kitten agreement will be completed by us and will require your signature when you receive your kitten.  It is important that you review this agreement before selecting a kitten and paying your non-refundable deposit since we will not release a kitten until this agreement is signed.  Thank you!
